More on HTC’s September 15th Event
We are learning a little more about the HTC event scheduled for September 15th in London. While we are still expecting a press event to unveil the HTC HD3 Windows Phone 7, we have also learned that HTC will be hosting a public “meetup” as well. According to HTC’s Twitter and Facebook pages, the Meetup will take place from 6:30pm until 10:00pm at the Redhook Hotel in London

Now Windows Phone 7 Is Complete – It Has A Fart App
Yes, I know Windows Phone went Gold last week as the platform was released to manufacturing, putting it in the hands of carriers and handset makers, but in the modern world of smartphones, that isn’t enough. Rest assured though the platform is now complete as we have an announcement that a fart app called Simply Farts and allows you to compose a fartaciluar piece on the fart piano interface. Windows Phone 7 users won’t have to play number two to the other big smartphone platforms.

Well, it looks like Microsoft has started spending all that money to market Windows Phone 7 . The above ad ran before a private screening of the upcoming re-make of Lawrence of Arabia . It’s a shame the screening wasn’t for a re-make of 2001: A Space Odyssey

Windows Phone 7 to launch December in Australia
Adding to our list of Windows Phone 7 launch dates, ITnews in Australia reports that Microsoft let slip a December launch date for Windows Phone 7 in Australia. The handsets are expected to be on sale in Australia by Christmas, with a “major launch” with Telstra planned in December. The date adds to a rumoured 22 October launch in UK and Ireland and mid-November in USA.
